{"id":48,"date":"2019-01-01T08:00:49","date_gmt":"2019-01-01T08:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/matthias-haenisch.de\/?p=48"},"modified":"2020-10-25T12:21:21","modified_gmt":"2020-10-25T12:21:21","slug":"mobile-music-and-aesthetic-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/matthias-haenisch.de\/?p=48","title":{"rendered":"Aesthetic Experience in Mobile Music Practices [2017-2020]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The research project \u203a<em>LEA \u2013 learning processes and aesthetic experiences in app music practice\u2039<\/em>&nbsp;(University of Cologne\/promoted by Federal Ministry of Education and Research) is a three-year longitudinal study that examines learning processes and patterns of aesthetic judgement and experience in musical intercourse with digital smart technologies.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/matthias-haenisch.de\/?attachment_id=347\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-347\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-347 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/matthias-haenisch.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Videostill-3-300x162.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"513\" height=\"277\" srcset=\"http:\/\/matthias-haenisch.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Videostill-3-300x162.jpg 300w, http:\/\/matthias-haenisch.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Videostill-3-768x416.jpg 768w, http:\/\/matthias-haenisch.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Videostill-3-845x457.jpg 845w, http:\/\/matthias-haenisch.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Videostill-3.jpg 1650w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 513px) 100vw, 513px\" \/><\/a>The way in which the research participants make music with their smartphone or tablet in an informal setting is monitored over a year through narrative interviews, videography and video stimulated recall interviews . The data is then analysed based on qualitative methods in grounded theory methodologies.<\/p>\n<p>The research proposal was submitted by Marc Godau, Matthias Haenisch, Matthias Krebs and Christian&nbsp;Rolle. The project will run from 2017 to 2020 and is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.<\/p>\n<p>LEA is one of three partial studies within the research network <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dikubi-meta.fau.de\/projekte\/mubitec\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MuBiTec &#8211; Musical Education with Mobile Digital Technologies<\/a>. The research network wants to find out which special educational potential results from the use of mobile technologies in musical practice. The three sub-studies will investigate how a mobile digital culture emerges socially and technologically, which special aesthetic aspects play a role in corresponding educational offerings and which specific competencies are promoted.
